Itinerary

Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport), your personal driver-guide or our representative will meet you. From here, you will be driven to your accommodation in Arusha for an overnight stay, waiting for your adventures to start the following day.

This is where all of your planning becomes a reality: your safari starts now. Tanzania is such a wonderful country when it comes to wildlife and beautiful landscapes. After we greet you and answer any questions you might have, we’ll take great pleasure in taking you out and showing you what we mean. You could come to Arusha National Park for the wildlife; birds are abundant, and you’ll almost certainly see giraffes, zebras, buffalos, and perhaps elephants and hippos. But you’ll hardly be able to take your eyes off the scenery—here the Rift Valley is at its most beautiful. Rising above the park, Mt. Meru is a volcano drawn from a child’s imagination. Ngurdoto Crater is one of the most dazzling anywhere in Tanzania. It’s smaller than Ngorongoro but otherwise just as impressive.

After breakfast we will drive to Tarangire National Park which takes two 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you will take in the scenic views of the grassland plains speckled with ancient baobab trees, traditional Maasai houses, and cattle herded by the nomadic people. You will see all that Tarangire National Park is known for – the famous ancient baobab trees, tree-climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of African elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After a picnic lunch in midday, you will resume your afternoon game drive, then drive to the hotel

After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti National Park. This drive will take you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area so you can view the Ngorongoro Crater on the way. This drive will take around six hours depending on the game on the way because sometimes there is a high concentration of game on the southern plains. You may have a chance to stop at the Ndutu area, depending on the time. You will stop for a picnic lunch on the way, then proceed to your lodge with a game drive en route, arriving in the evening.

This day is set aside for game drives in the Serengeti. The Serengeti is truly spectacular. It is famous for its vast, open grasslands which allow for excellent sightings of wildlife. The Serengeti is Tanzania’s oldest national park and it is also one of the oldest ecosystems on earth. Its climate and vegetation have remained largely untouched for millions of years.

Whilst the Serengeti boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for the annual great migration. Vast numbers of wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of zebra and antelope, move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The precise location and timing of the migration are entirely dependent upon the rainfall patterns each year.

After your game drive, you will return to your accommodation for a hearty dinner and relaxation under the stars.

WE WILL SPEND THESE DAYS TO FOLLOW THE WILDEBEESTS MIGRATION

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game viewing drive en route in the Serengeti National Park. A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. The Serengeti National Park is where safari-goers come to truly experience an African safari. The park is featured on many National Geographic shows, the park is rich with wildlife, endless plains, sunrises and sunsets that make the heart go wild. The park is known for its huge wildlife population. White-bearded wildebeest, zebras and gazelle migrate annually during the great migration from the plains of the Serengeti in Tanzania to the grasslands of the Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of fresh grass. It is also home to big cats, lions, cheetahs and leopards. You will arrive at your accommodation late in the afternoon for dinner and your overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game-viewing drive. The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the 8th wonders of the world. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most famous sites and is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa. The crater has achieved world renown status, attracting an ever-increasing number of visitors each year. You are unlikely to escape other vehicles here, but you are guaranteed great wildlife viewing in a genuinely mind-blowing environment. There is nowhere else in Africa quite like Ngorongoro where one is guaranteed to see the endangered black rhinos, large prides of lions, herds of wildebeests, zebras as well as elephants, buffalos and hippos! Late in the afternoon, continue with a short drive to your lodge for dinner and your overnight

Maasai Village Day Trip – Early the morning we will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha, heading towards Masai Village one and a half hour scenic drive. During a walk through the village, your personal Maasai guide will be explaining the life, past and current life of the Tanzania Maasai people. After arriving at Maasai Village a group of pleasant Maasai and the Village Chief welcomes you with an amazing song. You will spend the whole day at Masai Village where you will have a chance to taste some local Maasai foods. During the sunset a group of Masai men and women gather around for the traditional singing & dancing performances. You are welcome to join in

After enjoying Maasai Village Day Trip with Maasai people in the evening you will say goodbye to the Masai people with many new impressions in your mind. Then are driven back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

The day is left free to wind down after the trek before your flight home. Depending on flight times you could go and explore nearby town and grab some souvenirs before heading to the airport. Moreover you can take your flight back home on the last day of safari if you have evening departure.
